Church Services

OUR VALUES
Our church services are led by Pastors Frank and Monique Ngatoro, alongside our leadership team. Everything we do is shaped by the values of Meeting Place, and these are clearly seen in how our services are run.
We are intentional about understanding what God has called us to do so we can serve our community with love. We believe that faith in Jesus naturally leads to action that brings glory to God.
We believe everyone who is part of Meeting Place has a role to play. Our services are a safe and encouraging space to learn, practice, and live out Kingdom principles taught by Jesus, His apostles, and the prophets in the Bible.
Ps Monz
Meeting Place Tairāwhiti’s Pastors are committed to Jesus and His Kingdom mission. We believe in the message of salvation through repentance and in the power of the Holy Spirit given to believers. We hold to Jesus’ promise that His followers would continue His work and bring glory to God.
In 2025, our focus was RELEASE. This was a season of letting go of things that kept people bound or stuck, and releasing them from religious mindsets into a real relationship with God marked by surrender and trust. It was also a season of releasing faith into action and making space for the work of the Holy Spirit.
In every service, we intentionally grew Kingdom thinking, Kingdom living, and Kingdom action by following the life of Jesus. For us, equipping the saints means applying biblical truth in practical ways and living out our faith daily.

What is MPT about
We understand:
-
The Bible is important to our relationship with God but also helps us discern the spirit/Spirit.
-
Fellowship keeps us close to the fire, helping our relationships with each other and deepening our understanding of our relationship with God alongside other believers through the experiences of our church community.
-
If we have a Word from the Lord, we should pray for the meaning.
-
Do not ignore what goes through your mind, pray about it.
-
We should write down in a journal and date any dreams, visions or words given to us by God.
-
How to listen for The Lord.
-
How to speak life and encouragement.
-
When is a prayer for someone else a physical healing prayer or a past trauma healing prayer.
-
Our prayers are meaningful, no matter what they sound like, trust that God knows our heart.
-
That speaking to people about our faith is not comfortable for some but it is something we should practice more.
What might a service look like?
Our church services are designed to be welcoming, purposeful, and led by God. We begin with worship to align our hearts and remain open to the leading of the Holy Spirit. After worship, one of our pastors or leaders shares a message.
We see our services as a time to grow in Kingdom values and learn how to live out our faith in everyday life. Prayer is an important part of our gatherings. We create space for prayer in different ways, including praying together, in small groups, or with our pastors.
We believe prayer is powerful and encourage people to listen for God’s guidance, deepen their understanding of His Word, and grow in their sense of purpose.
Our pastors share from Scripture not only to teach the Word of God, but to help people connect with it in a deeper and more personal way. Through the truth of Scripture and the guidance of the Holy Spirit, people are equipped to grow in understanding, faith, and confidence to live out what God has revealed.
