LOVE - The greatest of these is love. We share the common attitude that we will serve our community with an unfailing attitude of love

INTENTIONAL - We are intentional about learning and understanding about the environment and context in which God has called us to, and we will do whatever is necessary short of sin, to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

FAITH - The cornerstone of our FAITH is Jesus Christ and the great commission.  We believe our faith in Jesus produces actions that bring glory to God.

EVERYONE - The Bible said EVERYONE is created in God's image. Jesus called us to love God with all our heart and mind and love our neighbor as ourselves.

CHURCH GATHERINGS

Our Corporate services are every Sunday except the third Sunday of every month and are held at the Rangatira Scout Hall, 55 Station Road, Te Karaka 4022.

The third Sunday of each month our church community have been asked to assist others in the community through #LIFE. To be present in the community helping alongside Clubs, Schools or outreaching with community events.

The second Sunday of each month our church service is called MIA (Ministry in Action) This allows our church community to attend a more intimate type of fellowship that includes prayer, learning the Word of God together, discussions around what God has been doing in our lives that include our children. This is also a great time to learn about the gifts that God has given out and how to utilise them for the equipping of others or service to God.

ABOUT US

Meeting Place Gisborne came from a shared vision of church that focused on aspects of LIFE together as a united body in CHRIST.

Pastors Frank & Monique Ngatoro offer an opportunity for believers to share their faith as well as build and equip others through serving and utilising their gifts and callings without limitation.

While Covid-19 definitely changed the way we operated together, it did not hinder our outward expression of faith and love of Jesus or each other. Discussions within our leadership team during and after lockdown in 2020 and again in 2021, helped us shape the culture and systems that is Meeting Place Gisborne today.

meetingplacegisborne is our online presence, however Meeting Place Gisborne was  launched in September 2019 at 104 Roebuck Road.

Meeting Place Tairawhiti is covered by the New Life Movement of Churches and is a Charitable Trust.

We now operate as Meeting Place Tairawhiti, out of the Rangatira Scout Hall,  55 Station Road, Te Karaka, Gisborne.
